Ethical Collection London is an eco-luxury boutique that curates a collection of some of the finest ethical products from designers and artisans around the globe. Offering you the choice to shop with integrity but without compromise – empowering us all to choose beautiful, sustainable items, made with passion and a conscience.

Ethical Collection only works with artisans and brands that respect our world and the environment we live in, so you can be assured that you are doing good with every purchase you make. But more than this, Ethical Collection makes sure these decisions are far from a compromise – maintaining exceptional quality, diversity and vibrancy throughout our collections.

Each item in the Ethical Collection boutique has been hand selected by our founder, Giovanna Eastwood, to showcase sustainable fashion as a chic and responsible option. Our products are timeless - they defy seasonal trends and embody elegance, beauty and character.

If we want a fashion industry that preserves traditional skills, that doesn’t pollute our world, that doesn’t exploit workers and that provides opportunities to people in need, then we must reflect this in our shopping choices – Ethical Collection does, and we ask you to as well.

The decisions we make determine the world that we live in and the world we leave to future generations. If we want change, then we must live this change through the choices that we make every day. With each purchase, we invite you on a journey of discovery - from the story behind the talented artisans we work with from around the world, to how we deliver the goods to you – making sure even our packaging is recycled and recyclable.

What is Ethical?

Ethical means many things to many people. Our approach is simple. We only stock brands that are good to their people and to the planet and therefore we will only partner with them if they comply with at least one of our Ethical Standards.

People:

Condition: Compliance with Fair Trade working standards and fair wages for employees, supporting the empowerment of women, facilitating community development, and providing education for both the artisans and their families.

Tradition: Artisans who use traditional techniques that help preserve their culture and their ancient skill by exposing it to an international platform.

Planet:

Material: Products that are made using Certified Organic cotton, that support the innovation of sustainable material development and use, that have been made using reclaimed, recycled or upcycled products, and where necessary, comply with Animal Welfare standards.

Process: Efficient production that is non-harmful and non-toxic, that acts to minimize waste or to save water, that is powered by a renewable energy source.

We are not here to say what is right or wrong, we just want to provide you with information so you can shop more consciously. This is why love telling the stories of all our brands, to lessen the distance between you and our amazing artisans and to give you the opportunity to support sustainable fashion.

Ethical Collection - About the Founder

Giovanna was inspired to start her brand Ethical Collection, after her time visiting in the slums of Rio De Janeiro where her mother funded a charity project teaching young women to make and sell bags from recycled materials. Giovanna witnessed first-hand the opportunities the charity gave the woman, their families, their communities, the pride they had in their work and the benefit it had on the surrounding environment.

Giovanna began Ethical Collection as a platform from which she could promote and sell beautiful crafts from artisans working ethically around the world, to give her customers access to the most beautiful products and, importantly, to give them a choice - a choice between fashion with a conscience and our usual fast fashion habits without.

Giovanna Eastwood is a graduate from the London College of Fashion, with a BA hons in Product Design and Development, and has been working in various different roles within the fashion industry for the last 9 years. She launched Ethical Collection in 2015.

"I aim to be a part of a positive change in the fashion world, where our decisions can improve lives and protect our environment rather than the opposite. For now, what I am primarily looking to do is open up new markets to talented artisans and eco designers. It is so important to me that my customers understand the Ethical Collection story, and how much good they are doing with their thoughtful purchases."
